Sladjana Djordjevic – Founder of TP Center

Sladjana Djordjevic, MA in clinical psychology, certified Body Psychotherapist. She gained Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Faculty of Philosophy, department of psychology in Belgrade.
She finished a Body Psychotherapy Training in Tepsynthesis Training Institute in Belgrade and later on two experiential years in Belgrade Gestalt Educational Studio.

In 2018. and 2019. she attended Somatic Trauma Therapy training in Cambridge and in June 2023 she finished Somatic Experiencing Training (online/Zagreb).

Sladjana is the holder of National Certificate for Psychotherapy (NCP), European Association for Body Psychotherapy Certificate and European Certificate for Psychotherapy (ECP).

In over fifteen years of practice, she integrates principles of Body Psychotherapy, Gestalt Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing and other humanistic approaches.
She has been an active member of European Association for Body psychotherapy (EABP) since 2014.
From 2016. to 2020. she was the Vice President/General Secretary of EABP and in September 2023. she is voted for the Chair of EABP Council.
Since 2007., she held many presentations/workshops on National and International events about Body Psychotherapy, early development and trauma therapy.

She wrote numerous articles in Serbian and English language. One of them is the article about early development in Parent’s Handbook From healthy parents to healthy offspring. Also, she wrote the article The Role of Embodiment in Therapeutic Process: A Case Study in a book Body Psychotherapy Case Studies. She is also the author of the chapter Body psychotherapy and trauma in the book Trauma – our story.

Sladjana is the author and leader of continuous professional development courses ‘’Embodiment in psychotherapy’’ and ‘’Trauma – path of recovery’’ which are regularly being held since 2019. and attended by more than 700 psychotherapists from the entire region (Belgrade, Sarajevo, Zagreb, Istra).
